This week's shoots were devoted to some baked goods recipes I've been meaning to try for awhile now, like Bon Appetit BlueBerry Hand-Pie recipe by Sue Li. Wow, this is a good one, folks. The only thing I did differently was using a store-bought pie crust for convenience (instead of BA's home-made crust, which I can only assume is far better). And I baked them for about 25 - 28 minutes (vs. 35 - 40 minutes.... our oven is hot). If blueberries aren't your cup of tea, try a different type - these can work with a variety of berries. These hand-pies are a great, healthy snack to store and eat on-the-go, but I personally recommend eating them while they are warm. Click the above link for the recipe. Kudos to Sue Li. More please.
